They Came From Upstairs Trailer

The trailer is out for the first movie I've worked on- I am inordinately excited! It's such a great feeling to be a part of something like this.

Oh my goodness...

Wow- drawings huh? (I know.. I couldn't believe it either.)

Getting back into the drawing swing-of-things.. here are some sketches done in my steno book from the past month or so of work including a sketch from 9:30 am dailies in all its glory.









It seems like my drawing skills have suffered in no small way during my self-imposed thesis/graduation/moving/job-starting hiatus. I also apologize for the crappy pictures of my pictures... no scanner so a camera will have to do for now. More to come soon.. I hope. In other news I'm starting work on Night at the Museum 2 on Monday- Hooray!

Brushing the dust off?

My goodness it's been awhile. Many thanks to Google Reader & much more dedicated bloggers then me- you've been amusing me while I wait on renders at work!

A lot has happened in the past couple of months & time has absolutely flown by. Maybe it's time I get back into the drawing habit. Unfortunately my watch word ever since graduation has been "Rush rush rush! Busy Busy Busy!" (Alright.. I guess that's more like watch WORDS really!) Anyways I never really got much of a summer break to speak of before moving out to LA and starting my first real job as a lighting TD with Rhythm & Hues (Not that I'm complaining, mind you). Honestly the urge to come home from work and draw just hasn't been there recently, but it's starting to come back.

And maybe when it does I'll actually use this thing. I know my parents read it at least.. all three posts of my blogging goodness!
